Abiding happiness or joy is our birthright! But, in this world of duality where suffering exists side by side with happiness, how do we attain to this state? In our daily life where we encounter uncertainties, trials and tribulations, is lasting happiness possible? Ancient and contemporary sages reply with a resounding “Yes!”

In this 4-week class we shall explore their counsel about ways to achieve enduring happiness. From the Eastern traditions we shall glean insights and practices; from the “Book of Joy” we shall extract wisdom from the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu.

Over the last five contests, the Our World is Kind Photography Contest has generated over 10,000 submissions from 1000+ photographers in more than 140 countries. These moving images have inspired kindness, love, gratitude, and joy in tens of thousands of global viewers.

Now, more than ever, it’s important to work together to spread kindness and connection through our communities. That’s why Our World is Kind is back for 2024, seeking images from kind and talented photographers to help inspire kindness, joy, and healing around the world.

Many school children are returning to schools and education centres across the world this week in the Global South and North! We have two relevant and practical children's and educators/parents resources that have been designed by the GoldenRuleism Team, to be fun, interactive and functional ways to ease children back into their education environments and assist in navigating some of the completely rational nerves and excitment that comes with starting or restarting school again!

The GLOW Conference highlights important work in developing global competencies and experiential learning. One of its chief goals is to present practical, actionable steps that all attendees can take in their own contexts to implement innovative educational approaches. This emphasis distinguishes the GLOW Conference from many other educational conferences: we want to showcase effective educational approaches and make it easy for others to try those approaches in their own teaching and learning contexts. 

Proposals can be submitted from July 1, 2024, until midnight (UTC-5) on October 20, 2024.
